Welcome, I’m glad you’re here. My name is Ross Hendrickson, and I am the owner of Upland Family Counseling. I have a passion for helping individuals, couples, and families navigate life’s challenges. With over 25 years of experience in pastoral counseling and a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy, I’ve worked with people from all walks of life, guiding them through personal struggles, relationship conflicts, and life transitions. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and solution-focused, integrating evidence-based techniques to support emotional and relational well-being. Having been married for 23 years and raising a family with 2 children, I understand the complexities of relationships and personal growth. My goal is to provide a safe, supportive space where clients can explore their challenges and build healthier, more fulfilling lives.

Take the Upland Path…

Life can feel like an uphill climb… rocky, uncertain, and exhausting. The word “upland” refers to high, rugged terrain that can be difficult to navigate but rewarding when reached. The journey can be tough, but those who take the upland path have found a new perspective, a clearer view, and a deeper strength.

At Upland Family Counseling, we believe healing is much the same. Life’s struggles, whether personal, relational, or within your family, can feel overwhelming, but taking the upland path means embracing growth, resilience, and transformation. With guidance and support, you don’t just endure the climb – you rise above it, gaining clarity, strength, and a renewed sense of purpose.
